This is useful to build design intent into the sketch placement to update based on changes to the previous model history structure. This fully associates the sketch plane to the placement location and modifications to the placement locations will update the sketch placement. This plane is not associated to any placement option and will not change based on modification to the placement locations.įor Structured Parts, options are available to fix the sketch plane to the placement references. You can use the TriBall positioning tool to modify this location after the sketch plane is created.
